Product Details

When to Use: Apply this tape when installing Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV) noise barriers on interior walls, ceilings, and floors. The tape ensures an airtight seal around the perimeter and at the butt joints of the mlv soundproofing material for maximized acoustical performance Use With: Install this tape over UberQuiet MLV Cap Nails. Use the cap nails to secure the mass loaded vinyl sheets to the studs or joists, then cover the seams and perimeter with the seam tape. Key Features: Strong, excellent adhesion, and flexibility for an airtight seal and easy application. Use leftover tape for floor markings or other applications. Not Compatible: We do not recommend using this tape with textured mass loaded vinyl or around ductwork, piping, or other mechanical equipment. Usage: 1 Roll for approx. 150-200 sqft of MLV installation (typical)
